Washington 2025 Volleyball Summer Camp
NBC Volleyball Camps, near Seattle, WA, is perfect for girls aged 11-18 who are passionate about volleyball, have some volleyball experience, and are excited to work hard to improve their skills. At U of Puget Sound, NBC athletes are divided up into training groups based on age and skill level. Camp focuses on comprehensive volleyball skill development in a supportive, intense, fun, and positive environment. NBC Camps focuses on training the total athlete with an emphasis on skill mastery, mental toughness, servant leadership, and personal faith. Camps combine Christian values with cutting-edge research on talent development, building confidence, and the importance of commitment. DAILY TIMES & CAMP INFORMATION
OVERNIGHT CAMP SCHEDULE
First-day check-in begins at 12:30 pm for overnight and extended-day campers.
Last-day check-out at 3:00 pm.
EXTENDED DAY CAMP SCHEDULE
First day: 12:30 pm-9:00 pm. Dinner provided.
Middle days: 9:00 am-9:00 pm. Lunch and dinner are provided.
Last day: 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Lunch provided.
Extended-day campers DO NOT sleep on campus or eat breakfast on campus.
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Player Overnight Volleyball Camp is geared towards intermediate or advanced players and offers training in all aspects of the sport including leadership and confidence training. NBC's Complete Player volleyball curriculum is all-encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of volleyball with excellence. Complete Player camps offer overnight (complete program training) and extended day options for those who commute to and from camp each morning and evening. Camp is very rigorous, and we only recommend commuting for those who live nearby.
Elite Volleyball Camp is the ultimate volleyball camp experience. Attendance at this camp means you are one of the top players in your area. This camp offers training in more advanced aspects of the game including volleyball IQ, position specific training, teamwork and court leadership. Camp is very rigorous, and we require these three things to register:
- Girls Ages 14-18
- Voted All-Star at 2024 summer camp or at least two years of club volleyball experience
- Must be able to clear over hand serve
ROOMMATES & HOUSING
Roommate requests are required in advance. If you have no preference, we will match you with a camper of the same gender and similar age. Contact nbc@nbccamps.com if you would like to add a roommate request.
Housing - The information below is subject to change each year.
Air conditioning: No - campers are encouraged to bring a fan.
Lost Key Fee: Yes
Campers per room: 2-4
Bathrooms: Campers share a common bathroom
Supervision: coaches of the same gender will stay in the dorms for supervision. Male coaches/staff will stay on separate floors/separate dorms.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own knee pads and athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own volleyball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival and meals.
Meals and Cafeteria: The cafeteria facility provides an all-you-can-eat salad bar with fresh fruit, hot entrees with beverages, sandwiches, and cereal stations.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Show Less See More Camp DetailsIntensity Night- Intensity Night is a unique NBC Camps event involving sweat, music, encouragement, and craziness. Intensity Night allows campers to work harder than they’ve ever worked before, and they’ll be cheered and encouraged every step, jump, and push-up along the way. Campers set their level of intensity and everyone is encouraged to reach his/her personal goals. No one is forced to go beyond their abilities. It’s a great opportunity for campers to explore how fun hard work can be. At some locations, families are welcome to attend to observe and encourage campers, you will be notified by your camp director before camp if this is available.
Camp Store- At check-in, you will have the option to purchase a camp photo to take home. This is a favorite item and a must-have for many campers. Camp photos come in a magnetic frame and are $5. The camp photo can be paid via Venmo or cash on the first day of camp. Camp photos will be handed out on the last day of camp.
International Travel Teams- NBC invites athletes ages 14-18 on international tours through the NBC Travel Teams program. Campers will learn about NBC tours at camp and can apply for one of our teams by contacting Travel Team Director Breanna Lyons at travelteams@nbccamps.com or visit http://www.nbccamps.com/international

ABOUT THE CAMPUS
NBC Volleyball Camps program is not affiliated with the U of Puget Sound, but we appreciate the opportunity to rent this amazing facility. Campers will be staying in dorms.
U of Puget Sound has a huge gym complex which is used as one of the gym training stations as well as the Intensity station. The cafeteria facility provides an all-you-can-eat salad bar with fresh fruit, hot entrees with beverages, sandwiches, and cereal stations.

Camp Coaches

Camp Director Michele Maxwell-Holland
Michele Holland joins us from Texas where she is the Associate Club Director at Fieldhouse Volleyball Club located in Northlake, TX. Prior to Fieldhouse, Michele was at Gonzaga University where she was an Assistant Coach & Recruiting Coordinator. She has 8 years of coaching experience, including time at Texas Tech, Texas State and Mercer University. Originally from Garland, Texas, she started coaching club in the nation's most competitive volleyball hotspot, working her way up through D-I level by embracing a variety of roles. Maxwell's previous coaching experience includes a wide array of responsibilities – training liberos and pin hitters, managing scouting reports, practice planning, and overseeing the team's academic success. She also oversaw graduate assistants, and helped facilitate social media and other external communications. During her time at Texas State as a GA, the Bobcats made back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2019 and 2020, winning the Sun Belt title both years. She was also a part of an NCAA Tournament team at Texas Tech in 2021, where she was a volunteer assistant.
