Fall Basketball Training in Spokane Now Open for Registration

NBC Varsity Academy at The Warehouse
On September 18, NBC Camps will begin the Varsity Academy basketball training program at the Warehouse in Spokane, WA. Varsity Academy is offered on Sunday evenings and is geared to help athletes improve in the off-season. Varsity Academy is split into two different training groups: D1 and D2.
Varsity Academy D1 is geared toward high school athletes. This program is set up to challenge advanced players, with intensity and competition being the focus. This fall session is specifically designed to help prepare athletes for basketball season. Teaching primarily takes place through live, competitive games and organized play. Sunday gym times will be more centered around competition, while Tuesday gym times will be skill, drill and repetition focused.
Designed for athletes aged 9-13, Varsity Academy D2 divides athletes into training stations based on skill level and ability. This basketball training reinforces the fundamental skills critical for success, which lays the foundation for future growth and improvement. At NBC, we believe that it is worth the investment to learn basketball skills correctly during these formative years. Our coaches take pride in making sure athletes execute skills correctly.
This program is led by John Fazio. Fazio has more than 15 years’ experience conducting individual skills training and AAU/YMCA coaching. Fazio has taken two high school varsity travel teams overseas with NBC International Tours. He is a USA Basketball Gold Licensed Coach and the head coach for the Whitworth University Men’s Club Team, which won the Region VI Championship in 2017. He has been involved with NBC Camps since 1995, and a full-time employee since 2000.
