Camp Packing List
What to Bring
ALL CAMPERS:
- Completed medical release waiver (online in the customer portal)
- Basketball/Volleyball with camper name clearly labeled
- Basketball/Volleyball shoes (some locations also require outdoor shoes)
- Casual shoes for walking on campus between gym times
- Athletic gear and apparel (anything you need to wear for your sport)
- Warm-ups such as sweats you can easily pull on and off over gear
- Letter writing supplies (pen/pencil, paper, pre-addressed envelope, and stamp)
- Notebook (you may wish to record what you are learning, or possibly tryout for the Golden Ruler Award for athletes 13 and older)
- Reusable water bottle with camper name clearly labeled
OVERNIGHT CAMPERS:
- Sleeping bag or light bedding (fitted twin sheet and blanket) and pillow (Please note: College Basketball Prep Camp has linen and bedding provided)
- Towel and toiletries such as soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, etc.
- Small fan for dorm room
- Alarm clock (coaches help wake up campers but plan to have your own way to track time or set alarms to be on time)
Please Note: Campers are expected to wear appropriate athletic clothing. No cut-off shirts or shorts, no thin strapped tanks, and shirts must be worn at all times. If we feel campers are dressed inappropriately, they will be asked to change outfits.
What NOT to Bring
- Drugs, alcohol, e-cigarettes/vape pens, tobacco products, non-prescription medications
- Weapons of any sort - no guns, knives, pepper spray, tasers, etc.
- Electronic devices such as tablets, laptops, headphones, air pods or handheld video games.
- Food items such as gum and sticky candy
- Expensive jewelry, electronics, other valuable items
These items are prohibited and could result in dismissal from camp without refund or credit. General misconduct could also result in expulsion.
NBC Camps is not liable or responsible for lost or stolen items.
Cell phone use is discouraged at NBC Camps. Cell phones can be used as alarm clocks or to call parents/guardians as needed before lights out and are to be kept in locked dorm rooms (not carried around throughout the day). Phone use for social media, texting, games, photos, videos, apps, etc. is not allowed and may result in immediate dismissal from camp without credit or refund.
