CAMP DESCRIPTION
Basketball Skills Day Camp (4 days)
Day Camps focus on important keys for athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. These camps are similar to our overnight camps but are specifically designed for younger or more beginner athletes. The intensity, curriculum, and schedule are more conducive for a younger and more beginner athlete and we highly recommend this camp as a starting point for the younger player before coming to any overnight camp. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and skill level.
Complete Player Camps emphasize extensive skill development, intensity, enthusiasm, leadership, and team skills. NBC Camps's full-time staff work year-round to make NBC Camps the premier basketball camp in the world.
NBC Camps is the largest overnight basketball camp program in the world. We focus on total skill development emphasizing training the total athlete. Our camps elevate skill levels through intensive skill training. We break down each skill into specific portions which ingrain the skill and create "muscle memory." The intensity of our camps helps maximize the "heightened" environment necessary for growth. Our camps are high-energy, fun, and unlike any other camp experience.

Stars-
So thankful for NBC
I want to let you know my son is feels so connected and secure at these camps with what NBC creates. He connects so much with his coaches and his basketball family. He was crying after the last day because he didn’t want it to end. This bonding is wonderful and the basketball progress blooms from that and in my opinion is secondary to that security and trust to be himself and grow and learn exponentially more in that environment

Focus on teamwork!
There was good focus on teamwork and sportsmanship. The kids were allowed to just have fun, even if they weren't performing each skill just right. The instructor didn't shy away from the fact that NBC is a Christian oriented camp.

Amazing coaches and so age appropriate. I was beyond impressed. I worried it might be to much for my young kid, but it was perfect. He had so much fun.

4th year
This is my forth year and I felt each year was as good as the rest. I would like to keep coming. No need to change anything. The camp coaches spent extra time after the day ended to play basketball with my buddy and I while we waited for my parent to pick us up.

Games and fundamentals
It would be nice if there was a half day option for older kids. 6 hours is a long day. I liked the way they incorporated games with fundamentals.

Recommended for kids who love basketball
This is a great camp I recommend it to a kid who loves basketball.

Impressed with coaches
I was impressed with the way the coaches intergrated "having fun" directly into the drills with the chants, etc. When you have a child who does not like to have attention on him, it forces them to step outside their comfort zone...and mine did so with a smile, which was so nice to see.
