NBC Connect Teams for Canadian Basketball Players
NBC Teams = It’s mentorship, it’s accountability, it’s encouragement, it’s a game changer that can help you reach your goals and dreams.
NBC TEAMS is hosted out of our NBC Central Office in Spokane, WA. Campers in 6th - 12th grade from ANYWHERE can register for NBC TEAMS.
There are currently no NBC Connect Teams scheduled for 2021.
Our NBC Connect Coaches, many of which coach and direct at our summer camps, will guide small groups or TEAMS through a 5-week training course that is designed to help you elevate yourself on and off the court.
Teams are small groups, usually about 5 student-athletes, that are formed based on age and gender. Campers enroll for these courses that are led by our NBC Connect Coaches. These teams will meet weekly online with Zoom. The goal is to build camaraderie, to provide a forum where the athletes can grow together through accountability, encouragement, and guidance from the Connect Coach. Athletes will also be able to interact with coaches over email throughout the week to submit assignments, report on progress, or ask questions.
One of the most important jobs of the NBC Connect Coach is to make these weekly team meetings as valuable as possible. These are the primary connection source for the NBC Connect Teams.

NBC Connect Teams – Small group accountability courses led by and NBC Connect Coach. These teams meet weekly on Zoom over five weeks and dive into ways to improve on and off the court. We are all about improving the total person. This membership also includes access to our online training and teaching courses.

Coach Coach Shawn Stetson
Shawn has directed and run NBC Camps for over 25 years. He played basketball at the University of Calgary before joining NBC Camps in 2001. He is in charge of over 50 NBC camps in the U.S. and Canada. Shawn offers years of experience playing college basketball, coaching teams, coaching camps, and mentoring players. Shawn is compassionate, hardworking, and excited to connect with basketball players from all over through NBC Connect Teams and One on One Training.

Camp Director Luke Lavorato
Luke is a dynamic and inspirational teacher of the game. Luke has formerly been the NBC Site Director at The King's University for 9 years and a long-time coach and master teacher with NBC.

Co-Director Mike Greeno
Mike has his teaching degree from the University of Lethbridge and is an elementary teacher at Immanuel Christian School. He played college basketball at Briercrest.
