Three Hills 2025 Basketball Summer Camp

From Alberta to the Northwest Territories to Saskatchewan and British Columbia, NBC Camps attracts hundreds of the best basketball players in Western Canada each summer to Prairie College in Three Hills, AB. The training curriculum at camp will give you the tools to improve your ball-handling skills, shooting form, defensive intensity, leadership, mental toughness, confidence, and character. NBC Camps focuses on training the total athlete with an emphasis on skill mastery, mental toughness, servant leadership, and personal faith. OVERNIGHT CAMPER INFORMATION

Daily Times for Overnight & Extended Day Basketball: First day check-in begins at 12:30pm for overnight and extended day campers. Extended Day times from 9:00am-9:00pm daily and end on the final day at 4pm with the overnight campers (Director will provide exact drop off and pick up times)

EXTENDED DAY CAMPER SCHEDULE

First day: 12:30pm-9:00pm. Dinner provided.
Middle days: 9:00am-9:00pm. Lunch and dinner provided.
Last day: 9:00am-4:00pm. Lunch provided.

Extended day campers DO NOT sleep on campus or eat breakfast on campus.

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS

Position Specific Camps– These camps train athletes to excel at specific positions: guard, wing, and post. Campers select the position for the week and receive comprehensive training for that position during morning sessions and then work to incorporate those skills into live competition in full court, live-action games during the afternoon sessions.


ROOMMATES & HOUSING

Roommates for this site need to be requested at least two weeks before camp begins. If you have no preference, we will match you with a camper of the same gender and similar age. Contact nbc@nbccamps.com if you need to add a roommate request.

Housing - The information below is subject to change each year.

Air conditioning: varies - campers are encouraged to bring a fan.

Lost Key Fee: Yes

Campers per room: usually 2

Bathrooms: Campers share a common bathroom

Supervision: boys and girls are separated into different dorms or different floors with coaches of the same gender staying in the dorms for supervision.


INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER

Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff to camper ratio

Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.

Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own ball (clearly labeled with their name).

Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival and meals.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
