NBC Camps will be hosting a basketball skill development training day camp near Houston, TX this summer! This camp will be fun, encouraging, and will increase each camper's confidence both on and off the court!

NBC Basketball Day Camps are perfect for budding basketball stars, ages 10-14 who want to improve their basketball fundamentals and overall understanding of the game. BASKETBALL DAY CAMP INFORMATION
Daily Times for Day Camp: 10:00am to 3:00pm (first day check-in is 9:30am)
What to Bring: Campers should bring sack lunch, basketball, water bottle, and completed medical release waiver (online).
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Skills Basketball Day Camp focuses on the crucial keys for athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. The intensity, curriculum and schedule is suited for athletes who want to take what they know and improve it to take their game to the next level. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

BASKETBALL TRAINING VIDEOS
NBC Basketball offers six 30–45-minute online courses to help you get ready for camp and remember your training after camp. Become a strong player all year long. Add it when you register or click here to add after your registration.
Day Camp - Sample Schedule
- 10:00 am Welcome, warm up and shoot around
- 9:20 am Ball handling/dribbling stations
- 10:00 am Fundamental instruction in key skill areas such as shooting, attacking the basket, rebounding, passing and defense
- 12:00 pm Lunch break - bring a sack lunch
- 12:45 pm Leadership and life skills training and small group discussion
- 1;15 pm Competitive skill and drill work such as shooting games, small sided games, and live scrimmage
- 3:00 pm Spotlights and daily review, camper dismissal

Camp Director Jamaree Jackson
Jamaree first attended an NBC Camp while playing varsity basketball in Oahu, Hawaii. After graduation he helped coach for his alumni, Radford High. He moved to Washington State to attend college at WSU and still drove to help coach at Radford HS! Years later he began coaching at NBC Camps Whitworth in Spokane, WA and knew from there he had developed a passion to coach and inspire young players to continue to be great on and off the court. Jamaree now coaches and trains in Baytown, Texas at Gentry Middle school.
