Located on the beautiful campus of Walla Walla, University, NBC Camps is the perfect place to experience a basketball camp unlike any other. NBC 's long history of instructing athletes to become their very best together with Walla Walla University's beautiful campus and dormitories provide an ideal location for campers to pursue excellence in all areas of their lives.

For extended day campers, check in time each morning during camp will be at 8:30 and check out each night will be around 9 pm. The check-in on the first day and end time on the final day for extended day are the same as overnight campers

About the Campus

Walla Walla University was founded in 1892 as Walla Walla College.  On the beautiful campus, NBC campers will be staying in the University dormitories. Each room has two beds with nearby private shower facilities. The dorms are not air-conditioned and we encourage you to bring a fan.  The cafeteria provides all-you-can-eat meals. Evening Programs are held in the old campus church, now an auditorium.  There is an athletic facility with three full courts and a swimming pool, and two school gymnasiums situated on the edge of campus. For soccer camp, there are three fields on campus (including two with lights).  WallaWalla University is located just next to Walla Walla in College Place, Washington, about an hour from the Tri-cities.

About the Staff
We select outstanding people we believe are of high integrity and character, work ethic and willingness to pour their lives into helping athletes be their best. We work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches and dynamic competent teachers of the game. All our coaches are hand selected, receive a criminal background check, and are evaluated by the campers and leadership staff. Our basketball curriculum is organized to the minute each day with detailed training manuals and DVDs for our Master Teacher coaches.

SOCCER STAFF
We hire outstanding college and high school coaches, athletes and great people to work at our soccer camps. NBC Camps is known for the high quality and character of the people we employ. The coaches are excited to get to share their knowledge, passion, insight into the game, and what it takes to be a great player and teammate!

Site Director

Matt “Bones” Leonard
Matt (“Bones”) has his USSF “B” license and has many years of coaching experience—from youth soccer to high school soccer to now collegiate soccer. He is the Head Coach of the U-17 Boys for the Spokane Shadow teams, is a Full Time Fitness teacher for Spokane Public Schools, and is also an assistant coach at Whitworth University. He has taken teams to the Final Four in the state cup and has seen his teams consistently compete in the highest leagues of the state.  He coached boys and girls Varsity teams at Shadle Park High School and earned GSL Coach of the Year in ‘03.  An All-Conference player at Whitworth, he later played with the PDL-USL Spokane Shadow. Matt has also been the Head Boy's Basketball coach for the past 4 years at Havermale High School in Spokane, and has coached on an NBC International Tour Team in England. He has directed NBC Soccer since ’02.
