About the Campus
Simpson University
is located on a very private, secure campus nearby a quiet residential
area of Redding.Campers will be staying in beautiful residential dorms.  Each room accommodates two campers, with private shower facilities. These
rooms are air-conditioned. The cafeteria facility provides an green salad
with fresh fruit, hot entrees with beverage, sandwich and cereal stations.
Evening programs are held in the main campus air conditioned gym. Campers
alternate being bussed to nearby local gyms to provide maximum competition
and plenty of room for training and games.
Roommates for this
site need to be requested before camp begins. If you have no preference
we will match you with a camper of same gender and similar age. Contact nbc@nbccamps.com if you need to

About the Staff
We select outstanding
people we believe are of high integrity and character, work ethic and
willingness to pour their lives into helping athletes be their best. We
work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches and
dynamic competent teachers of the game. All our coaches are hand selected, receive a criminal background check, and are evaluated by the campers and leadership staff. Our basketball curriculum is organized to the minute each day with detailed training manuals and DVDs for our Master Teacher coaches.
SITE DIRECTOR
Bill Stricker has
coached at East Union High School in Manteca, California for 25 years.
His teams have made two appearances in the sectional championship game
in addition to four league championship titles. Bill has been named coach
of the year four times. As a player, he was a member of the original 1970
Portland Trailblazers and was also an honorable mention College All American.
Jon King has been
coaching young men and women for the past 20 years and has lead two NBC
Tour Teams to the British Isles in 2003 and 2004. Jon has been a NBC Co-Site
Director for the past 7 years at Simpson University in Redding CA, and
is currently serving as the High School Boy’s coach at Redding Christian
School in Redding, CA.
