Nazarene University. For 35 years NBC Camps has been training athletes

About the Campus
Northwest Nazarene
University: Nampa, Idaho
NNU is situated on an 85-acre, park-like campus with beautiful residence
and sports facilities. Campers will be staying in the very nice dorms
at Northwest Nazarene University. These facilities are air-conditioned,
including the gym. There are two campers to a room with nearby private
shower facilities. You do not need to request a roommate before camp begins.
When you sign up for a room, have your preferred roommate with you. If
you have no preference, we will match you with someone of the same gender
and similar age. The cafeteria facility provides all-you-can-eat salad
bar and entree with beverage, dessert, and cereal stations. Five full
courts on campus plus nearby gym facilities provide exceptional space
for training and games.
We are excited for camp at NNU. As some of you may have heard, several weeks ago a fire damaged the NNU field house facility due to student vandalism. We have secured excellent gyms both on and off campus and are looking forward to a fantastic week of camp. We will be using the NNU main gym for camp and the Friday afternoon program. We will be using both the NNU main gym and Lone Star Middle School for instruction during the week. LSMS is on the corner of Middleton Rd. and Lone Star Rd. if any parents want to come and watch during the day. We will not be using LSMS past 5 p.m. each day. Registration will be at the NNU main gym in the North Hallway, signs will be posted both on the street and at the gym to direct traffic.

work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches and
dynamic competent teachers of the game.
SITE DIRECTOR Craig Stensgaard
Craig serves as the Sports Information Director at NNU. He earned his B.A. in office administration at NNU and his endorsement in secondary education at the University of Idaho. He continues to hold secondary teaching certificates in accounting and business/computer education. In the summer of 2004, he completed his Masters of Physical Education graduate degree in Athletic Administration from Idaho State University.
Prior to returning to NNU in a full-time capacity seven years ago as golf coach and assistant basketball coach, Craig served as a part-time assistant basketball coach for two seasons and as the head coach of the NNU JV basketball team from 1997-2001.
