NBC UK basketball camp
is located in the heart of the UK, on the safe haven of the Isle of Man.
There lies the Isle of Man, host to NBC Camps. Finance is the islands
number one industry and sport is the number one past time. NBC Camps has
offered our American coaching for over ten years on the Isle. A brand new multi-million
pound Sport and Leisure center is the hub for our daily routine. Two gymnasiums,
three full-courts, tons of baskets and an indoor Olympic pool with two
extreme water slides are available each day.

About the campus
Located in the middle of the Irish Sea, the Isle of Man
is home to King Williams College. King Williams College was one of the
first public schools in the 1800's. Campers will be staying in a nice
residential dormitory. Each room accommodates two campers, with nearby
private shower facilities. Rooms for more than two are also available.
These rooms are not air-conditioned and we suggest you bring a fan. You
do not need to request a roommate before camp begins. When you sign up
for a room, have your preferred roommate with you. If you have no preference,
we will match you with someone of the same gender and similar age. The
cafeteria and food service provides nutritional entrees with all-you-can-eat
breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. The brand new multimillion-dollar
sports complex houses several exceptional basketball courts and swimming
facilities. For basketball enthusiasts this is a dream come true.
Special Events
We run a special Carnival
on one night of our camp, when all campers compete against staff in fun games to win tickets - just like being at the fair. Popular games in the past have been 1 v 1 and 2 v 2 against
our coaches! It is a great atmosphere and a wonderful way to relax after an intense day at camp.

What
activities should a parent attend?
Parents are welcome to attend any aspect of camp. We would also like all
parents to attend our closing ceremonies program on the final day at camp.
Parents may want to spend most of the day at camp the final day watching
closing tournaments and games. Parents
are welcome to attend the Carnival on the fourth night that starts at
7:45. For more details contact the site director.

Where
do Isle of Man residents meet on the first day?
Isle of Man residents who attend NBC Camp will meet at King William College
for registration at 1pm on the first day.
What
if I need to stay an extra night after camp ends?
We can cater for all requests that are made in advance. If you need to
make special arrangements like this, please contact Jeremy Manino on Tel:01253 315975.
How
do I get transportation to and from camp?
Round trip transportation by ferry from the mainland to IOM is included
in the cost of camp. Campers
traveling from the UK mainland will meet at Liverpool Docks where tickets
for the ferry are issued for all NBC campers by our NBC representative.
Campers from the mainland will leave from Liverpool Docks on Monday 13th
August. Parents and campers will be informed of the meeting and sailing times
Can I register online?
Please note you can register for camp online but cannot make payment. You will be instructed after you place your registration to send a cheque to NBC Britain. Your place in camp will not be confirmed until payment is received.
Does
the camp price include the cost of the ferry for campers?
Yes. Campers traveling from the UK mainland will meet at Liverpool Docks
where tickets for the ferry are issued for all NBC campers by our NBC
representative.

Yes. The cost is £260 for residents who do not need to take
