What is a daily schedule like?
Wake up is usually around 7:00 am, with breakfast for half the camp and ball handling for the rest. Next is fundamental instruction, we break down by position and attempt to cover these areas: shooting, individual moves, defense and team movement. Typically stations are 60 minutes long followed by two rounds of games. Next is lunch, then games all afternoon, from 1:00-5:30. Dinner is served at 5:30 followed by another round of games until 7:15. The last item of the day is the evening life skills training meetings- skits, videos, music, life stories, and a main speaker or the highlights of the evening. The teams then will gather for a 15-20 minute time for team building and bonding. Lights out at 10:30 PM. Evening programs provide your team an opportunity to grow in relationship with one another through laughter, team time and discussion.

What makes NBC Team Camps different?
We change the leagues
We offer opportunity to change leagues depending on your win/lost record for the day. Instead of being placed on a league and having the frustration of either dominating or being dominated by the competition, we provide the flexiblity to move if you need to.

We expect excellence

If you want a team camp where coaches head down to the local bar while the campers hang out all afternoon, we are not the camp for your program. We desire to help you build a quality program of excellence, team unity, and quality.
At NBC Camps we believe competitive basketball and sportsmanship are not mutually exclusive goals. NBC Team Camps feature great basketball in an atmosphere that promotes encouragement and teamwork. Located in four states, our team camps have a history of attracting and developing state championship teams.

Exceptional competition
Up to seven leagues ascending in excellence, with opportunity to advance depending upon team success.

Position Breakdown
NBC teaches team greatness at each position. Each athlete is given the tools with which to play aggressive, under-control, fundamentally sound basketball with unwavering confidence.

Team Unity Building
Team unity is a central focus of our team experience. NBC Team Camps lay the foundation for building a state-championship caliber team.

More Basketball
NBC Team Camp is not a snooze-until-noon camp. It's not an aracade-goof-around camp. With 13 games, 20 special situations, 4 challenge tournament game, and 4 team practices and fundamental stations your team will have at least 41 opportunities for improvement. If all you want in your team camp is a place to play games, to socialize, and be entertained, NBC Team camp is not for you. This camp has a history and reputation of being the best team camp on the market. Teams that come to our camps want more than an average team, they want to excel on and off the court as players, as teammates, and as people. Expect to give and receive the very best at NBC Team Camps.

Are referees provided?
NBC recruits college coaches and athletes to work with team camp coaches and campers. Referees hired are guaranteed to work hard, be decisive and run to each spot. Teams will be assigned an NBC Staff representative to help ensure a quality week of great basketball and team building. Back to Team Camp FAQ

What is your camp curriculum?
Physical Training
NBC Camps' teaching staff will reinforce the fundamentals while challenging your players to attain higher levels of individual performance. Our curriculum for each position is designed around competitive live-action drills to help your players learn by doing. NBC Camps' coaches are skilled, enthusiastic, and committed. We can make your team better. Strong fundamentals are key to success on the court. By emphazising shooting, passing, rebounding, intensity, mental toughness, we will deliver the skills and the mind set you want for your program. Every coach wants his or her team to play more like a team, to be solid fundamentally, to score, to defend, and to be successful. NBC Team Camp staff will worlk hard to achieve these results.

Mental Training

Every great athlete and program understands the most important training happens in the mind. A great fundamental shooter with a poor mind set can never succeed unless he or she changes her thinking. At NBC Camps, we believe in the philosophy, 'As you think, so you become." Becoming a great team and a great athlete requires disciplined thought and training.

Team Camps focus this summer is the Relentless Pursuit of Excellence. The evening programs will teach life skills necessary to succeed on and off the court. Night one: The relentless pursuit of transformation. Learn to become a person who values change and the discipline needed to become a great person on a great team. Night two; the relentless pursuit of toughness: Understand how crucial our thoughts are for our success, learn to block destructive patterns of thinking and living, and develop physical and mental toughness. Night three: the relentless pursuit of team; Learn why team is so important, what prevents us from developing team unity, and proven principles that make us better people on better teams, Night four: The relentless pursuit of Truth. Learn how belief is foundational to success for individual athletes as well as for basketball program, why cynicism destroys ball clubs and the importance of faith and gratitude. TOP
