These camps feature
in-depth training on how to excel at the guard or post position. For athletes
12 and older, the curriculum is much more specific than our standard camps
and involve all aspects specific to guard and post play.
AT GUARD & POST PLAY CAMP
These are some of the skills Guards learn
during the week:
- How
to control game tempo and to set offense.
- How
to lead the fast break and get the ball to the correct players.
- How
to recognize defenses and to be a team leader.
- Perimeter skills.
- How to become a go-to scorer.
- How to penetrate
and attack the basket under control.
These are some of the skills Post
players learn during the week:
- How
to get open and set screens.
- How
to score facing and with back to basket.
- How
to play post defense.
- How
to rebound and play with aggressiveness.
- How
to know and learn the most important post offensive and defensive skills.

What is the difference between Point Guard & Post play and Guard & Post Play?
The difference is in the guard instruction. Point guard camp trains only for the point position, where guard camp trains for both point and shooting guards.
